Event Description:

The LWV of Pullman’s second annual Visual Arts Civics Education Competition is for students in grades 3-12 in Whitman County, WA. This contest is designed to encourage understanding of and participation in government. The theme this year is eARTh Art. Civics and the natural world are connected: How will these issues affect your future? The competition launched on Presidents Day, February 20, 2023. Students have until March 31st to submit their artwork. We will have an awards ceremony, with prizes, on Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, at Neill Public Library.
