Asotin County Library recently issued the following announcement
Author, advocate, educator, and scholar Anna Malaika Tubbs will discuss her book “The Three Mothers: How the Mothers of Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and James Baldwin Shaped a Nation”.
Tubbs will be joined by Dr. Amy Canfield, Professor of History at Lewis-Clark State College. Together they’ll explore topics about mother and womanhood, race and discrimination during this one-hour program on Zoom.
A Q & A will follow their discussion.
