Let’s kick off this year’s Summer Reading program, Oceans of Possibilities, with a PARADE!!! Sign up your family for this Children’s Parade AND for Summer Reading on the porch of the library at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 4. After registering in one of three categories: Motorized, Wheeled or Walking, families will line up in front of the library. The parade goes from the library to downtown Rosalia and then back to the library for a treat! All kids of school-age (and younger, if they are accompanied by a grown-up) are encouraged to dress up and decorate their bike, wagon, stroller or ??? with an Ocean Theme and join in this traditional kick-off to Summertime fun. Immediately following the Children’s Parade there will be the regular Battle Days Parade and many more family events.
