The City of Long Beach, Washington is seeking qualified applicants for the position Summer Utility Maintenance Worker. The primary function of an employee in this class is to perform unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repair, inspection, and service work in City parks and public areas, including equipment, machinery, irrigation systems, and structures; perform semi-skilled maintenance and service work on City streets, rights-of-ways, and underground utility lines; operate medium to heavy duty equipment, carpentry skills are preferred.  All functions are performed under the supervision of the Crew Lead and Field Supervisor. The position has a salary range from $17.95 to $20.19 per hour depending on experience. This position is temporary and will start May 15th  and will last through mid-October.

Applicants should have a valid Washington State driver’s license or be able to get one in a reasonable amount of time.
