The City of Long Beach recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Long Beach, Washington is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Public Works Director. This position plans, organizes, directs and/or performs the organizational, staffing, control, budgeting, planning, operations, and repair activities of the Public Works Department in accordance with State and Federal laws and City codes. Responsible for all departmental services including streets, water, wastewater, parks, facilities, storm drainage, capital improvement programs, for the application and administration of State and Federal grants and for Public Works functions

The position has a salary range from $6,301 to $7,973 per month depending on experience.  The City provides a generous benefits package.

Applicants need to fill out a City of Long Beach job application which is available online or at City Hall.

Applicants should have a valid Washington State driver’s license or be able to get one in a reasonable amount of time. Applications can be submitted by mail to P O Box 310, Long Beach, WA 98631; faxed to (360) 642-8841; or delivered in person to Long Beach City Hall at 115 Bolstad Avenue West.  Applications must be RECEIVED at City Hall no later than Friday, March 11, 2022 by 4:00 p.m.
