Life Jackets Float! You Don’t!

The  weather is warming up, that means people looking for relief in the  rivers around the area. The rivers are still running high and cold with a  lot of debris. If you choose to enjoy

the rivers this week, please make  sure that everyone is wearing a life jacket! If you don’t have one go  to one of the places with a life jacket loaner board provided by Safe  Kids

Lower Columbia. Life jackets save lives.

Life Jacket Locations

Longview – Boat Launch and swimming areas

Castlerock – Boat Launch and Camelot

Woodland – Boat Launch and swimming areas

  1. S Pekin Rd – Boat Launch
  2. Goerig Park
  3. Austin’s Point
  4. Martin’s Bar

If  you are swimming or boating in any of these areas and you need a life  jacket, just go to the board and borrow one. We have all sizes from  infant to adult. When you are done

using them for the day, just hang  them back up on the board for the next person.  It’s that easy!
