Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who represents Washington’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on July 17, 2025, addressing legislative priorities and recent votes.

In one post, Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez referenced another account by stating @FrontPorchRepub (July 17, 2025). She also commented on the importance of focusing on positive legislative goals: “To identify counterfeit bills, you don’t just study counterfeit bills – you know what the real thing looks like. Likewise, to build a future worth having, Congress needs to focus on what that will look like – not only on the policies we dislike. https://t.co/J0lvOnllwz” (July 17, 2025).

Later that day, she discussed her stance on fiscal policy and other legislative proposals: “Chatted with @KUOW about my vote against a reconciliation bill that skyrockets our debt by $4 trillion – as well as my proposals to set mental acuity standards for Members of Congress and cap headlight brightness.
