On April 13, 2026, Gluesenkamp Perez posted: “The credibility of Congress is rotting under the weight of unaddressed corruption and sleaze-all four of these Members should save their last shred of dignity and resign”. Gluesenkamp Perez succeeded Jaime Herrera Beutler in Congress after the 2022 election cycle. She was born in Harris County, Texas in 1988 and currently resides in Washougal. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Reed College in 2012.
