Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, who represents Washington’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently used her social media platform to update constituents on a range of local initiatives and community engagements.

On February 6, 2026, Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez announced constituent services in Ryderwood: “Next Wednesday, my bipartisan team will be in Ryderwood to help constituents who are getting the runaround from federal agencies like the VA or Social Security Administration. Stop by! We’re ready to serve.”

Gluesenkamp Perez began serving as a member of Congress in 2023 after replacing Jaime Herrera Beutler as representative for Washington’s 3rd district. Born in Harris County, Texas in 1988 and now residing in Washougal, she is an alumna of Reed College (BA, 2012).
