A second round of emergency response grants will be available for businesses to apply for by the Pacific County Economic Development Council (PCEDC).
"PCEDC plans to assist as many small businesses as possible, and will award all available funds to eligible applicants. Grants will typically be awarded in increments of $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 (maximum) to cover allowable business losses incurred due to covid-19 between March 1 and Oct. 1, 2020. Total grant funding to be awarded in Pacific County in this round is $126,814," Chinook Observer reported.
Applications opened on Oct. 2 and are available for eligible businesses.
To be eligible, businesses must have 20 or fewer employees; be licensed to do business in Washington state; provide proof that it has been impacted by COVID-19.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to offer a second round of grants to Pacific County businesses,” Jamie Judkins, PCEDC Board chair, told Chinook Observer “ Our communities are dependent on the success of our small business community and the organizations that support them.”
