Census Bureau: More women than men in South Bend in 2019

Of the 1,500 people living in South Bend in 2019, 52.5 percent (788) were women and 47.5 percent (712) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SE Washington News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 442-to-439. In the 65 and over age range, there were 162 females and 176 males.
