A Conversation with Anna Malaika Tubbs on February 23, 2022

Asotin County Library recently issued the following announcement

Author, advocate, educator, and scholar Anna Malaika Tubbs will discuss her book "The Three Mothers: How the Mothers of Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X, and James Baldwin Shaped a Nation".

Tubbs will be joined by Dr. Amy Canfield, Professor of History at Lewis-Clark State College. Together they'll explore topics about mother and womanhood, race and discrimination during this one-hour program on Zoom.

A Q & A will follow their discussion.

Multiple copies of "The Three Mothers" available at the Asotin County Library. Please ask staff for a copy.
