Summer reading fun continues at the Longview Public Library through August 13th

The best way for children to keep their reading skills up and be ready for the next school year is to read! Especially when they read for fun and read what they choose. The

Longview Public Library is here to encourage reading and learning with our summer reading program - Oceans of Possibilities! Register on the Beanstack app or at

longviewlibrary.beanstack.org.

Week of July 17-23: Earn special Columbia River Maritime Museum prize for logging in three or more days of reading. While supplies last.

Week of July 24 – Aug 6: Earn special Burgerville prizes for logging in three or more days of reading. While supplies last.

In addition to the online reading challenges, the Library will be hosting events both online and in person including story times, movie screenings, and our finale picnic!

Summer Reading Picnic

Wednesday, July 27, 6:00 p.m.

Come to our FREE dance party picnic featuring the band "Micah and Me" as we celebrate the finale of the Summer Reading program! Live music, hot dogs, snow cones and chips

as well as a variety of booths and activities. Special thanks to the Kelso Public Library, the Longview Lions Club, Longview Early Edition Rotary, the Friends of Longview, the

Friends of the Library, and the Library Foundation. Open to all ages.
