The Street Division had another busy week making a variety of improvements for Walla Walla's drivers, pedestrians, residents, and businesses.

In addition to their routine maintenance and sweeping duties, the Stormwater crew cleaned up the sidewalk on Melrose Street (shown here), and performed puncturevine and other

weed control.

The folks in Street Maintenance did pothole and utility patching, crack sealing, and prep work for upcoming paving on Baumeister Drive.

The Wastewater crew performed routine and project inspections, and did maintenance on high-priority concrete and clay sewer lines.

The Traffic Maintenance team worked on painting crosswalks and legends, and completed their painting of skip lines (the dashed lane markers). They also prepared to program

school zone flashers and paint school legends beginning next week.

To get in touch with the folks in the Streets, call 509-527-4363 or email pwinfo@wallawallawa.gov. And as always, check out our https://GoWallaWalla.us site for more info about

Pavement Maintenance and our current and upcoming construction projects.
