The City of Longview is reimagining Washington Way and wants to hear from you

To  ensure our streets are safe, convenient, and accessible for everyone,  the City is reimagining Washington Way—the main arterial street for the  westside neighborhoods of

Longview and one of the priority corridors in  need of improvement identified in the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master  Plan. With federal grant funding from the National Highway System

Asset  Management Program, the Washington Way Complete Street Project aims to  maximize the life expectancy of the roadway, improve active  transportation options, increase

safety and comfort, and reduce traffic  incidents. The design phase of the project is officially underway, and  the City is seeking the community’s input on the proposed improvements

and preliminary design options to ensure this main route meets the needs  of all users. The community is invited to share feedback in the  following ways:

Complete a brief survey online to share how you currently experience Washington Way. Click here to access the survey.

Join  the Open House event in person on Thu. August 25 from 4-7 p.m. at  Longview Civic Circle Park. You will have a chance to hear directly from  City and project staff and share

your feedback on the preliminary  design options.

Visit the Online Open House to learn more about the project and stay informed on engagement opportunities.
