The City of Longview is seeking applications for vacancies on the Accessibility Advisory Committee and Civil Service Commission.
The Accessibility Advisory Committee advises the City of Longview on the most appropriate means by which to make its programs, services, activities
and facilities accessible to all of its residents and visitors. The committee’s primary roles are to advise the City on issues related to accessibility, bring to

enhance accessible community resources and emergency preparedness issues for the City. Meetings are held on the third Monday of every other month
at 4:00 p.m.
The Civil Service Commission authorizes and approves recruitments and competitive testing to determine the relative qualifications of persons who seek
employment in the Police and Fire Departments and establishes eligibility and re-employment lists for various classes of positions. The Commission
approves lists of the most qualified applicants for entrance and promotional exams. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 4:00 p.m.
These are volunteer positions and members of the Board receive no compensation for their services. Applications are completed online at
