Have you ever wondered what’s involved in the artistic process of creating comics? Come learn all about it at the Longview Public Library as we host artist and illustrator, Cat Farris on March 25 at 3:00 p.m.! Kat Farris’s Presentation will highlight her most recent books “The Ghoul Next Door” and “Up to No Ghoul” and her artistic process as she works as a comic book illustrator. In addition, she’ll have a question-and-answer time and book signing. Cat Farris is a native Portlander, an artist and is pretty sure she's just making it up as she goes along. She is supported in this venture by the world's most beautiful husband, the laziest greyhound, and an all-star cast of studio mates. She has done art for various comic publishers, including Oni Press, Dark Horse Comics, IDW, and HarperAlley. “The Ghoul Next Door” is described as a thoroughly charming story of friendship, sweet and funny and haunting all in equal measures.
