The City and Walla Walla Police Department are proud of WWPD Officer Josh Mayberry for earning this award. (No, it’s not an error that Officer Mayberry was honored in this category; in his off time, Josh volunteers as a firefighter.)

The award was presented for the lifesaving efforts by this team of firefighters/EMTs responding to an incident where an individual had fallen into a stack of hay and was not able to breathe. The team was able to remove the victim and provide lifesaving efforts to bring a positive outcome to that person and their family. Please join us in congratulating Officer Mayberry, Ben Wolfram, and Todd Reiswig for their efforts.
