Recently, the local Kiwanis made a generous donation to the Longview Police Department K-9 program. Community donations like this one help support the training and costs associated with the program. In addition to the Kiwanis donation, Kiwanis member and Retired Longview Police Captain Hal Mahnke worked with other retired Cowlitz County area law enforcement officers and to collect a very generous donation to the K-9 program on their behalf.  We thank you all for your donations.
