Walla Walla County Sheriff’s Office recently issued the following announcement on March 5.

We would like to introduce our newest team member, Rebecca Simmons!

Rebecca is local to the Walla Walla valley and grew up in Umapine. She is family oriented and proud of her husband, Tony, who works at the Penitentiary. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding.

For the last 8 years Rebecca has been a dispatcher in Milton-Freewater. She brings a lot of experience and working knowledge relevant to her new position. She will be doing her best to fill the shoes left behind as Lloyd leaves us. We are very excited to have her and look forward to getting to know her better!
