On December 5, 2024, Rep. Perez tweeted about her support for the bipartisan Energy Permitting Reform Act alongside the House Blue Dogs coalition. She stated that "Along with the @HouseBlueDogs, I'm encouraging House & Senate Leadership to take up the bipartisan Energy Permitting Reform Act." The bill aims to streamline the permitting process to expedite energy infrastructure deployment and reduce utility costs.

Later that day, she announced the passage of a bill in honor of Rob Gordon, a prominent figure in Southwest Washington. On December 5, 2024, she tweeted: "Rob Gordon was a lifelong Southwest Washington resident...To honor his legacy, the House just passed my bill to name the Bucoda Post Office after him." The next step is Senate approval.

In another tweet on December 5, 2024, Rep. Perez informed constituents about upcoming Mobile Office Hours in Stevenson to improve accessibility to her services. She wrote: "Next week, I'm bringing Mobile Office Hours to Stevenson...My bipartisan team will be available to assist with federal agencies like the VA, IRS, and State Department." Constituents can also reach out via phone if unable to attend.
