City of College Place issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
Falling leaves have started. The following gives instructions about the City’s leaf collection program.
• If you bag or box your leaves, you can place them about 2’ away from your garbage can and the bags will be collected at no charge to you.
• If you rake leaves to the street, city crews will be going around town with the sweeper and loader & dump truck to collect them.
