In a tweet dated April 4, 2025, she addressed the closure of the Chehalis VA clinic, highlighting the impact on Lewis County veterans' access to timely care. She stated, "After the Chehalis VA clinic closed, Lewis County veterans have faced challenges accessing timely care nearby. Under the last Administration, I hand-delivered my letter and a petition with 16,650 signatures twice to the VA urging them to reopen the clinic. I never heard back – https://t.co/lnYrWg4nuS".
