Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, currently serving as a U.S. Congress member representing Washington's 3rd District, has communicated her positions and recent engagements through a series of tweets. In the first tweet, Perez highlights her involvement in discussions with Ukrainian parliamentarians to address Russian aggression. Subsequently, she acknowledges the contributions of port workers in Washington to the national economy. Finally, she emphasizes the importance of a responsive federal government, particularly for rural communities.

On April 2, 2025, Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez discussed her interaction with Ukrainian leaders, stating, "I had the chance to speak with Ukrainian members of Parliament about our shared commitment to stopping Putin's unprovoked aggression and securing meaningful peace that protects Ukrainian sovereignty. Thanks to @WithHonorAction for hosting this important bipartisan discussion."

Following that, on April 3, 2025, she shifted her focus to domestic issues, specifically the vital role port workers play in the economy, stating, "The folks working at our ports are local heroes – they keep our economy running full steam ahead. I've visited more than 13 ports across Southwest Washington, that way I can fight for their needs and priorities in Congress."

In her subsequent tweet on the same day, Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez addressed the need for a more efficient federal government, especially for rural communities. She wrote, "Hardworking folks across #WA03 deserve a federal government that works quickly and effectively – not slash and burn tactics that harm rural communities. Thanks to @pahlkadot for joining our @HouseBlueDogs meeting to discuss ways to build a more functional and responsive gov't."
