Here is your Alder/Poplar reconstruction project and Walawàla Plaza update for the week of Dec 5-Dec 9.
Inclement weather prevented crews from doing more road-surface work, but progress was made in other areas across the entire project.
Poplar Street - between 2nd and Colville:
Crews were able to set and pour ADA ramps and sidewalks and perform electrical work on the signal at S. 2nd Ave and Poplar.
Poplar Street - Colville to Merriam:
Crews were able to perform electrical work on the signals at Palouse Street and E. Poplar Street - the street lights are schedule to be lit Friday evening.
Walawála Plaza:
Crews continue to make progress on underground water and utilities in the new plaza.
