On April 17, 2025, Rep. Gluesenkamp Perez tweeted about the intrinsic capabilities of Americans, stating "We are a nation of makers, doers, and fixers – not just consumers. Our national strength lies in the folks who know how to build shit that lasts and builds wealth in our middle class."

Later that day, she shared news regarding her recently introduced legislation, "Great news – my REPAIR Act was introduced in the Senate on a bipartisan basis last week! It'll defend your right to fix your vehicle where, when, and how you want and keep more money in your pocket."

In another tweet focused on immigration concerns, Gluesenkamp Perez addressed measures to support Ukrainian nationals in her district. She mentioned, "With the Trump Administration's pause on Uniting for Ukraine, I want to share resources to apply for Temporary Protected Status for Ukrainians in #WA03. I stand with you against Russia's invasion and hope you'll contact my team if you're facing delays."

Marie Gluesenkamp Perez has served with consistent engagement since replacing Jaime Herrera Beutler in Congress. Her educational background includes a BA from Reed College, obtained in 2012.
